The resort enjoys an annual snowfall of over 23 feet of light, dry snow. The mountain itself offers two distinct faces, providing varied terrain for skiers and snowboarding of every level. The Vance Creek side of the mountain offers groomed, smooth cruising runs with wide-open spaces, best for beginners and intermediates. The Putnam Creek side offers the most challenging runs with more than 60 runs providing a variety of terrain including excellent black runs.

Nestled in the Canadian Rockies, the resort offers 2,725 skiable acres and a vertical drop of 2,500 feet. Vance Creek Hotel (Moderate)
The Vance Creek Hotel is located on Main Street in the Silver Star village and offers a variety of standard rooms in a Victorian theme with all the modern amenities. The Vance Creek is the central check-in point for guests staying at the Silver Star Club Resort.
