Cat skiing is an alternative to heli-skiing. Skiers and boarders are transported up the mountain in a snowcat, a machine for snow grooming that has a cabin. Instead of flying, you travel on snow roads between each run.
Ski groups usually have 12 ski guests, a lead guide, tailguide, and cat driver. The passenger cabs on snowcats are heated and comfortable where skiers can enjoy socializing while being transported from ride to ride.
